        Measuring power in canoe racing

        Canoe racing also places particularly high demands on measurement technology.

        It has to be robust, waterproof, lightweight, battery-operated, deliver high data frequency, and wirelessly too. This is achieved with GSV-6BT.

        The total of 6 channels even allow two-dimensional force measurements to be carried out. Additionally, accelerations are recorded.

        Power measurement in rowing

        Here the forces on the stretcher and the rudder shaft are measured. Strain gauges or strain sensors are used on the rudder shaft.
